Fiber Lit Buildings
A fiber-lit building is a commercial property where one or more telecommunications providers have already installed active fiber connectivity. Because fiber infrastructure reaches the building, new customers can often obtain fiber-based services without requiring a completely new network build.
Being fiber-lit can reduce installation complexity and make services such as dedicated internet, Ethernet, private networking, and high-capacity connectivity more readily available to tenants.
These locations may also be called fiber-enabled buildings, fiber-ready buildings, on-net buildings, or lit buildings.
