Co-location
Co-location is space provided in a colocation center for servers and equipment that can directly connect to Internet network backbones. Co-location is used by businesses to provide reliable, secure, redundant, Internet connectivity and space for websites, applications, and important data. Most colo space services offer additional managed network service and onsite support for all aspects of WAN connectivity and security. Data center space is sold by the rack or cage with additional options for power, cooling, and data back-up available. Co-location space is also known as Data Center Space, Colocation Server Hosting, Colo Hosting, Data Center Colocation, Colo Space, Colocation Facility, Colocation Data Center, or Colo Hosting.
