Colo
A Colo is space provided in a data center for servers and equipment that can directly connect to Internet network backbones. Colo is used by businesses to provide reliable, secure, redundant, Internet connectivity and space for websites, applications, and important data. Most data centers offer additional managed network service and onsite support for all aspects of WAN connectivity and security. Colo space is sold by the rack or cage with additional options for power, cooling, and data back-up available. Colo is also known as Colo Hosting, Colocation Space, Colocation Server Hosting, or Colocation Data Center Space.
