Dedicated Fiber

A Dedicated Fiber service is a high-speed ethernet connection with bandwidth of 10Mbps to 100Gbps delivered over fiber optic lines. These services are used primarily by businesses to provide reliable, dedicated Internet access as well as other applications including email, file sharing, web hosting, data backup, VOIP, video, VPN, or cloud applications. Dedicated Internet is superior to cable, DSL, and shared fiber Internet access because it offers higher QoS, symmetrical bandwidth speeds, and a Service Level Agreement with guarantees on network performance, uptime, and repair. These connections are available in SMF, MMF interfaces with 10Mbps Ethernet, 100Mbps Fast Ethernet, 1Gbps to 100Gbps Ethernet handoffs. Dedicated Fiber Internet access is also known as Dedicated Internet, DIA, Ethernet over Fiber, or Ethernet Access.
