Ethernet over Fiber

An Ethernet Over Fiber service is a connection providing high-speed ethernet bandwidth of 1Mbps to 100Gbps delivered as Ethernet over fiber optic lines. Ethernet services are used by businesses to provide a reliable dedicated connection for internet access as well as other applications. Including email, file sharing, web hosting, data backup, voip, video, or VPN access. Ethernet over fiber access is superior to cable or DSL Internet access because it offers higher bandwidth speeds, lower equipment costs (Ethernet interface), and a Service Level Agreement. This provides guarantees on connection performance, uptime, and repair. An Ethernet Internet connection is available in 10Mbps Ethernet, 100Mbps Fast Ethernet, 1Gbps up to 100Gbps Gigabit Ethernet handoffs. Ethernet over fiber Internet access is also known as an Ethernet Circuit, Dedicated Internet, Ethernet Line, or Ethernet Access.
