Kbps
Kbps is a unit of data transfer rate equal to 1000 bits per second, Kbps is an abbreviation for kilobit per second. The measurement is a standard used in telecommunications and data services to describe the size of data transfer rate. Kbps would be considered a smaller measurement of data transfer when compared to larger units of Mbps or Gbps. A T1 line would have a data capacity of 1,544 Kbps or 1.544 Mbps. Kbps is also known as Kilobit Per Second, Kbit/s, or Kb/s.
